I appreciate your time in completing this questionnaire.

Please give me 48 hours to personally review your results and get back to you. Based on your responses I will be able to determine your largest roadblock to creating.

After I have assessed your results I will send you some resources about your specific challenge. I would love for you to review this information BEFORE our session so we can really dive in and create solutions tailored to YOUR life!

To give our conversation some context...

After 18+ years of teaching art and a lifetime as an artist myself, I can tell you the 5 largest barriers to making art.
Time
Time is a limited resource that’s more valuable than money because you can’t make more. But consider this, it's human nature to fill the time and space available to us. This phenomenon, known as Parkinson's Law, states that, “Work expands so as to fill the time and space available for its completion.” In other words, believe it or not you will never feel like you have enough time. Even if your current commitments were gone you would fill it up with something. The solution is to identify what time you have available, what commitments you are juggling and make sure these results align with your current priorities.
Money
I have never met a person who would say no to more money. However, there is a big difference between wanting and needing more money. There are ways around this roadblock, you just have to apply your natural creativity. Perhaps you reconsider your media, or rework your budget, or consider some part-time income to support your passion. There are solutions, you just have to be willing to make some adjustments.
Space
We all could use more space, but it is really necessary? Consider this, it's human nature to fill the time and space available to us. This phenomenon, known as Parkinson's Law, states that, “Work expands so as to fill the time and space available for its completion.” In other words, we can pretty much fill up any space given. The trick is to make what space you have functional. Identify your needs and then identify your resources to find a solution that will work for you.
Boundaries
We all have people we love who enrich our lives in beautiful ways. However, at the moment those amazing people are making it hard for you to follow your passion. The good news? You are loved and needed. The better news? You can fix this by establishing some healthy boundaries around what YOU need. Creative people are often givers and have a hard time making space for what they need. But there are positive ways to do this that will benefit all parties and allow you what you need and deserve.

Mindset
You have some really active mind gremlins holding you back! Getting started feels huge and as soon as you decide to take a step you get bombarded with insecurities and second guessing. You are stuck in this negative loop that is reinforced by guilt each time you don't make progress. It feels hopeless... but its not! It's simply a matter of identifying what the specific issues are and addressing each one. Some will be simple, and some take more time, but they can ALL be conquered.
Look for your results in your inbox and I look forward to meeting with you!!
